Siyuan Shen is a multdisciplinary designer with a rich academic background in both Product Design and Textiles Design, and took her degree with first-class honour from the Royal College of Art.
Her creative portfolio elegantly traverses the realms of product design, fashion, materials design, and digital artistry. Over the past two years, Siyuan has been ardently exploring the harmonious confluence of digital technology, traditional craftsmanship, and circular materials. This journey has led her to introduce an innovative digital manufacturing system rooted in the traditions of fiber textile craftsmanship. She has pioneered a unique fiber 3D printing process, intertwining it seamlessly with parametric designs, to craft sustainable fabrics and wearable art.
Siyuan’s vision is not confined to design alone; she aims to push the boundaries of materials through digitization, infusing them with multifaceted value. Her goal is to transform textiles into more personalized, intelligent entities, offering consumers an experience that's multidimensional and profoundly unique.
